I quite enjoyed it. I went on a Friday night and was mostly full of local people. The music was I live in Phnom Penh, and I'd sampled this club on my first weekend here. It was dark, with a small dance floor, and it was full of old Western men, prostitutes, or rich Khmer kids trying to show off. After one drink, we left! Went back again last week, despite my better judgement.
As it was a Wednesday night, it was only full of Western old men and prostitutes. I was the only non-prostitute there. We lasted only 10 minutes! Depends on your 'scene' but was definitely not mine. I'm not a fan.
Had a poor atmosphere: lots of sex tourists and local rich kids with attitude; the former obviously there for the prostitutes. Music and venue itself weren't so bad, but I went to much better places in this city. Some seemed to be having a better time than me however. Dj knows his job as the security staff and the bar staff does too. We went there on Saturday night: it seems that expats, who have been a big part of the customer, are stopping to go there.
They charge you on deposit time, and, expecting you re enough drunk, always try to charge you a second time, when you picking up your vehicle; Or, during deposit time, they try to not give you the change, the price is riles, letting you waiting, and expecting you to forget This is a very regular M. O since 6 month or more. And this is not usual in PP and in the nightclubs. I hope the manager will make this in a new order. Dance music and prostitutes. If you're into that, you'll have a good time.
You see that anywhere around PP though. Not a terrible spot and it stays open pretty late. The club itself is nicely designed. The music rotates between hip hop and techno. The crowd is mixed from backpackers in flip flops and tshirts to ladyboys and freelance prostitutes working the floor. There are some real Cambodian people here but remember this, most Cambodian people live on 1 dollar a day and the drinks are set for tourist prices, so you can would some high class people would be here,,, but they are not.
