This city seems to have a strong and sometimes very violent sexual language. People here are more ashamed of having a normal sex life than they are for having the craziest fetishes. Why is Berlin such a slut? To find the answer to this question please follow me after the jump.
If I would pretend to have the one answer I would make myself target to anyone claiming to know the truth. Obviously, there is no one truth to that but just several opinions, experiences or even moral approaches. So I decided to lean back and ask several slutty Berliners to give me an answer to my question.
Not a surprise really when you think about the inhabitants and their general aversion towards any kind of long-term commitment. Too many freelancers, too many free-thinkers, too many people always being late for a date. Berlin is a city with lots of options. And that is where the horror is exposed. If one asks for quality music and high quality sound, Bar 25 would never be an option.
They simply want to get entertained. No one ever asked me about my job, my genetic material or my health record. All good as long as I live around the corner or can spare some cash for a cab. I am a 27 year old catholic living in Babylon and even worse: At the end of the night I am a 27 year old male at his sexual peak. I play along and slowly realize that sex has become nothing more than a means to an end for me. It keeps my balls from blowing up.
